Simulating on Avatar

While uploading a Garment you have to select the Avatar that was used while creating the Garment in CLO. In most cases the simulated Garment will be exported and rendered without a visible Avatar. Use the option "No avatar" in these cases.

Saving the Avatar to find compatible Templates

Uploading Garments

While uploading a Garment you have to select the Avatar that was used while creating the Garment in CLO. In most cases the only option available will be "No avatar".

Selecting Templates

Most of our Templates export your simulated Garment. This enables you to precisely dictate what will be rendered. There will be no visible Avatar in the render.

However, some Templates include simulating your Garment on an Avatar. For instance, a dressform or a hanger. A Garment created on a male Avatar will need a different dressform or hanger than a female Avatar. In these cases a Template is only available for a specific Avatar.

When selecting a Template for your renders, the incompatible Templates automatically become unavailable. When a Garment with a male Avatar is selected for rendering, a Template for simulation on a female Avatar cannot be chosen. This prevents any mishaps.

Custom Templates

Our Enterprise Package includes Custom Templates, which provide more tailored options. When creating a Custom Template you have the option to tailor it for simulation on a (custom) Avatar or optimize for pre-simulated precision.
