Garment Category
All Garments have a Category linked. This enables easy filtering. It also enables a check for compatible Templates. Most Templates adapt to any type of Garment, but some Templates focus on a specific part of a Garment. These are linked to a specific Category.
Leveraging Garment Categories to select the best Templates
Uploading Garments
While uploading a Garment you have to select the Category that fits best. For example, upperwear or lowerwear. This enables you to easily filter Garments, but Categories also have another use.
Selecting Templates
Most of our Templates adapt effortlessly to any type of Garment, by automatically centering and applying standardized margins. This ensures consistent output across renders of all Garment Categories.
However, some Templates are made for a specific Category. These are Templates that focus on a specific part of a Garment. For instance, a detail on a pocket. For an upperwear and lowerwear Garment the pockets are placed differently and focus should be created differently. In these cases a Template is only available for a specific Category.
When selecting a Template for your renders, the overview shows which Categories are compatible. If an upperwear Garment is selected for rendering a lowerwear-only Template will automatically become unavailable. This prevents any mishaps.
Custom Templates
Our Enterprise Package includes Custom Templates, which provide more tailored options. When creating a Custom Template you have the option to tailor it for one Garment Category or optimize for adaptability to any type of Garment.
